Homeopathy in Wokingham

I trained as a professional homeopath at the Purton House School of Homeopathy (now part of Thames Valley University) and graduated in 2004 and then took my advanced Diploma with the Orion School in London, qualifying in 2006. I am registered with the Society of Homeopaths, the largest body registering homeopaths in the UK.

I came to homeopathy by accident after suffering from crippling morning sickness (which lasted all day, every day) when pregnant with my second child. My health visitor suggested seeing a homeopath when I had tried everything else and had already been admitted to hospital and put on a drip. Feeling that I had nothing to lose, I went to see our local registered homeopath, who gave me a number of different remedies and although the first two had no effect at all, the third worked immediately. I stopped feeling sick! It was as if it had been switched off, sadly by then I was eight months pregnant, however, it really opened my eyes.

I began my training later that year and spent four years at Purton House, then after qualifying I undertook another year's postgraduate training with the Orion School of Advanced Homeopathy and registered with the Society of Homeopaths, the largest registering body for professional homeopaths.

After qualifying I wanted to find the right place to see patients. At first I practised from home, but I felt that I wasn't offering the best service so after looking at a number of different clinics, I decided to open my own. This meant that I could offer a really good quality holistic service alongside other like-minded practitioners in a friendly and supportive environment. The Complementary Therapy Clinic is right in the heart of Wokingham, opposite the Denmark Street (Library) car park and just a short walk from the train station and major bus routes. We are then ideally positioned for easy access from all the surrounding areas; Finchampstead, Winnersh, Emmbrook, Earley, Reading, Binfield, Bracknell and Arborfield, to name a few.

I am experienced at treating a wide range of conditions, particularly those related to pregnancy, babies and children as well as hormonal problems, stress and depression. Whilst at college I wrote my dissertation on Autism and the improvements in communication that can be made with the help of homeopathy, so I still maintain a special interest in ASD and behavioural problems generally.
